Blues announce maintained and departed players

Following the conclusion of the 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship season, the Club will be able to announce the list of players retained and discharged.

Five Men’s First Team players have been released. These are Neil Etheridge, Gary Gardner, Scott Hogan, Marc Roberts, and Ivan Sunjic.

New contracts have been given to Lukas Jutkiewicz and John Ruddy.

Keshi Anderson has had his contract extension activated.

An additional seven young professionals have been released. Oliver Basey, Tate Campbell, Marcel Oakley, Rico Patterson, Callum Sullivan, Finley Thorndike, and Kieran Wakefield will all leave Birmingham City at the end of their contracts.

Morgan Dance and Pharrell Williams, both third-year scholars, have also been freed.

Five players have returned to their parent clubs. These include Emanuel Aiwu, Oliver Burke, Andre Dozzell, Cody Drameh, and Jay Stansfield.

The Club respects each player for their contributions during their time at Blues and wishes them continued success in their future endeavors.

Junior Dixon, Laiith Fairnie, Harley Hamilton, Sahid Kamara, and Femi Olofinjana have all exercised options in favour of the club.

Rico Browne and Brad Mayo have been granted professional contracts for next season.

All second-year scholars have been offered professional contracts, with more specifics to be announced during the offseason.
