Birmingham City star set for World Cup qualifiers in June

Juninho Bacuna has been called up by Curacao for two World Cup qualifiers in June.

The Blues’ midfielder, who is coming off the most prolific season of his career with nine goals and six assists in all competitions, will suit up for La Familia Azul against their opponents in Group C of the CONCACAF Qualifiers.

Curacao, led by Dick Advocaat, will play Barbados at Ergilio Hato Stadium on Thursday, June 6, before traveling to Trinidad Stadium to face Aruba on Sunday, June 9.

Bacuna, who is one game away from earning his 30th international appearance, last appeared for Curacao in March during a training camp in Turkey, where they won a friendly against Hull City.

Good luck, Bacca!
