Birmingham City Star Set For Departure As Medical Date Announced

Birmingham City are expected to lose a player soon, with one of their stars scheduled to undergo a medical on Monday, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Blues have a large budget to spend to return to the Championship on their first attempt, but there will be player departures as well.

Sivasspor, a Turkish club, has expressed interest in midfielder Alex Pritchard, and the transaction is developing rapidly.

An arrangement has been reached, and Pritchard will fly to Turkey on Monday to undergo medical tests.

Sivasspor placed sixth in the Turkish Super Lig last season, and Pritchard is interested in making the transfer.

Birmingham only acquired the midfielder during the January transfer window earlier this year.

However, his impact was minimal, as he was unable to help the Blues survive in the Championship.

Pritchard, 31, made 34 appearances for Sunderland and Birmingham last season, scoring once and giving six assists.
