Birmingham City Is Trying To Fill Three Positions With New Players

According to journalist Alan Nixon, Birmingham City is searching for a goalie, a center defender, and a striker to help Wayne Rooney.

When Blues fired John Eustace as manager despite being in the top six in the Championship, they received criticism from several in the football world.

Eustace was praised for the work he accomplished in Birmingham, but the club’s owners fired him and replaced him with Rooney.

After failing to lead DC United into the MLS playoffs, Rooney recently left the team, and he is determined to succeed in Birmingham.

The team wants to support him, and three jobs have been identified for hires.

In addition to a center back and a striker, Rooney wants the team to sign a new number one goalkeeper.

To adhere to EFL regulations, they must, however, make sure they are prudent with their expenditure.

The next weekend, Blues travel to Middlesbrough in the Championship before hosting Hull City.
