Kalen DeBoer and Alabama offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic made an offer to Zaden Krempin on Saturday.
Krempin attends Prosper High School in Prosper, Texas, and has a four-star rating on most recruiting websites. He has around 30 college football offers, including earlier ones from Michigan, Texas, and others.
DeBoer notified Krempin about his offer from the Crimson Tide.
“It felt really good hearing coach DeBoer tell me he wants me to play for the Crimson Tide,” Krempin told Touchdown Alabama. “That institution has produced many excellent offensive lineman. I’m incredibly grateful for this offer and chance.
The rising junior admires Alabama’s football success story. He got a preview of the program during his visit.
“Alabama is rich in tradition and getting to see all the National Championship rings and trophies was very cool,” Krempin told reporters. “They understand what they are doing at Alabama. The facilities are great, and the campus was fantastic.”
Krempin stands 6-foot-5 and weighs about 270 pounds. He completes blocks to clear the way for ball carriers and demonstrates excellent footwork, agility, and body control when pass-blocking.
