Atlanta Braves projected pitchers and starting lineups over New York Mets, May 10

Two bitter rivals face battle for the second time this season in Queens.

Charlie Morton (2-0, 3.50 ERA) remains an excellent member of the Atlanta Braves rotation. The 40-year-old veteran has pitched 36 innings in 2024, walking 13 and striking out 33 batters. He pitched against the Mets earlier this season, allowing four runs in 5.2 innings. His curveball remains one of baseball’s top pitches, and his most recent start ended after six innings against a tough Dodgers team. He allowed just two runs on five hits, two walks, and five strikeouts.
