Although the Braves have the top record in the NL, their opponent this weekend is a surprise American League team that has replicated the Braves’ success in 2024.

Stephen Vogt, the Cleveland Guardians’ inaugural manager and a member of the 2021 Braves World Series squad, has led the team to an 18-7 start. Cleveland leads the MLB with a +49 run difference. The Braves trail them with a +44 run differential. It should make for an exciting series down in Atlanta this weekend.

His 2024 is off to a shaky start, and his poor swing-and-miss ability raises concerns against the Braves.
