Arizona Cardinals CB signed to 53-man roster

On Thursday, the Arizona Cardinals added cornerback Bobby Price from their practice squad to their 53-man roster.

Quavian White, another corner, was then re-signed by the organization to take the vacant practice squad place.

In the last two Arizona games, Price has played on special teams. Having played in 24 NFL games, the 25-year-old made two starts for the Detroit Lions in 2021.

The Cardinals have recently rotated their defensive backfield, benching rookie sixth-round pick Kei’Trel Clark in favor of undrafted rookie Starling Thomas and then releasing safety K’Von Wallace after the Tennessee Titans claimed him via waivers.

In Week 7, the team lost to the Seattle Seahawks, and Marco Wilson and Thomas played every defensive snap. Meanwhile, Garrett Williams, a rookie selected in the fourth round, started as a slot cornerback in his first game following an ACL reconstruction. Clark was active but did not play.

Budda Baker, who had been out with a hamstring injury, made his return for Arizona against the Seahawks. Safety Jalen Thompson and cornerback Antonio Hamilton were elevated to limited participants in practice on Wednesday ahead of Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.
