Another decommit: Alabama’s four-star offensive lineman decommits

Dontrell Glover is the second 2025 commit to reopen his recruitment since Nick Saban announced his retirement.

Dontrell Glover (Fairburn, GA), a four-star offensive lineman, decommitted from Alabama on Monday night, according to Bama247. The 6-foot-3, 290-pounder chose Alabama over Georgia, Ohio State, and many other schools in April 2023.

Earlier in the afternoon, the No. 14 interior offensive lineman in the 2025 class informed Bama247 that he was “100% locked in,” although he did not emphasize how important offensive line coach Eric Wolford was in his recruiting.

Glover is the second 2025 commit to reopen his recruitment since Nick Saban’s retirement. Jaime Ffrench (Jacksonville, FL), a five-star receiver, decommitted from the Crimson Tide on Sunday night.

With five pledges after losing Glover, Alabama now has the No. 9 class in the 247Sports Team Rankings. The class is led by five-star EDGE Zion Grady (Troy, AL) and Anthony Rogers (Bradenton, FL), the country’s No. 1 running back.
