Michigan football could be in line for another big win on the recruiting trail as a top-100 wide receiver has set a decision date.
Marsh, a four-star wideout from Katy, Texas, is ranked 58th overall in the 2025 class by 247 Sports composite rankings. He visited Michigan football this past weekend. It was his third visit to Ann Arbor in the last two months.
You can always keep track of the visits, and because Marsh hasn’t been anyplace else since his past two excursions to Michigan football, the Wolverines are in great condition. All of 247 Sports’ crystal balls point to the Wolverines, and an August 28th decision date, according to a new report from Sam Webb of The Michigan Insider, is also beneficial.
The On3 prediction algorithm gives Michigan football an 87% probability of securing Marsh’s commitment. If U-M does sign Marsh, he could be the best wide receiver recruit since Donovan Peoples-Jones and Nico Collins.
Roman Wilson was exceptional, yet he was ranked far lower. Marsh would demonstrate that elite receivers can come to Michigan. Brady Hart, the University of Michigan’s 2026 quarterback commit, was on campus. Carter Smith is also a member of Michigan’s 2025 recruiting class.
That can help the Wolverines recruit players like Marsh and since no other program has hosted him for a visit since mid-June, it feels like Michigan’s time to close.
