Analyst Claims 1 Quarterback Is ‘Gonna Be A Problem’ This Season

With second-year quarterback Anthony Richardson returned from injury, the Indianapolis Colts could be on the verge of another successful season.

Richardson showed sparks after being taken in the first round by the Florida club, but he only played four games in his rookie year before being sidelined due to injury (shoulder).

Now that Richardson is recovered, the Colts have the opportunity to improve on a near-playoff season last year.

Damien Woody, an ESPN commentator and former Super Bowl winner, recently commented on ESPN Radio about Richardson’s potential this season.

“I think he will light it up…””This guy is going to be a problem,” Woody declared.

Woody also mentioned that because of where head coach Shane Steichen has gone and who he has worked with, Richardson has the potential to thrive in Indianapolis.

Steichen formerly coached Phillip Rivers, Justin Herbert, and Jalen Hurts.

He can help Richardson become a star in the NFL.

The former Gator showed some promise in his four games last season.

He had seven total touchdowns (three throwing) and one interception while starting for the Colts, who went 2-2.

He can save his health if he just gets smarter about how he runs and when he decides to stop.

The team recruited quick rookie wide out AD Mitchell from Texas to the NFL Draft, joining 1,000-yard receiver Michael Pittman Jr. and fellow starter Josh Downs.

With a healthy Richardson and a fully committed All-Pro running back in Jonathan Taylor, the Colts have the potential to be a terrifying team in 2024.
