Along with a new Steidten update, West Ham plans to make three signings in January.

Tim Steidten wants to keep up the good work, and 90min reports that West Ham want to bring in three players in January.

Following their victory in the Europa Conference League, the Hammers added Edson Alvarez, James Ward-Prowse, Dinos Mavropanos, and Mohamed Kudus to their first team.

But as Steidten continues to assemble the team in his image in conjunction with manager David Moyes, the club is now eager to bring in a left-back, a central midfielder, and a striker in January.

West Ham is rumored to be trying to add a new left-back, midfielder, and center forward in January as Steidten looks to expand on his successful summer hiring of Mohammed Kudus, Edson Alvarez, and James Ward-Prowse.

These are the three positions we truly need, according to almost all West Ham fans when asked what the team’s current missing parts are.

Our current left-back choices are Emerson Palmieri, who is terrific, an aging Aaron Cresswell who wanted to go in the summer, and two filler players who aren’t naturals in Ben Johnson and Thilo Kehrer.

Alvarez, Ward-Prowse, Tomas Soucek, and Lucas Paqueta are solid choices in midfield, but the Brazilian has a well-known release clause next summer, so having a little more depth in the position would assist with any injuries or slips in performance.

A better long-term alternative up front would be ideal because Michail Antonio is getting older and dealing with injuries, while Danny Ings has been a dud since joining from Aston Villa last January.

It’s encouraging to see that the club and supporters agree, and being a Hammer at this moment is thrilling.
