Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders has two former Alabama assistant coaches at Colorado, and he now has a former Crimson Tide defensive lineman.
Anquin Barnes Jr., a defensive lineman, announced his commitment to the Buffaloes on social media on Sunday.

He graduated from Montgomery’s Robert E. Lee High School and joined Alabama’s 2021 recruiting class.
Barnes came in as a four-star lineman and owns two SEC Championship rings. He was the NCAA transfer portal’s second defensive lineman and the fifth name to register with the goal of seeking a new team.
Barnes has joined the Colorado Buffalos together with Charles Kelly and Sal Sunseri.
