Alabama supporters react To Crimson Tide five-star wide receiver commits to reclassify to 2024 class

The prospect of possibly acquiring the best in-state player in a long time excites Alabama football supporters.

Five-star wide receiver Ryan Williams of Sarland (Ala.) High School had a fantastic junior season that almost resulted in a Class 6A State Championship. Against Clay-Chalkville in the 6A State Championship Game, he put on a show, recording 11 catches for 232 receiving yards. Williams broke the catches and yards record for both the Super 7 overall and Class 6A.

Alabama supporters are ecstatic with his decision to reclassify as a member of the 2024 recruiting class, even though he only scored four touchdowns in total—two receiving, one rushing, and one kickoff return. Many consider Williams, a committed member of the Crimson Tide, to be a generational prospect.

Alabama fans reacted on Twitter to his decision to reclassify.

We will see if Williams signs his National Letter of Intent for the Crimson Tide next week.
