Alabama QB Makes Decision on Whether…

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe, who has emerged as one of the best players in the nation this season, revealed on Thursday the expected next steps in his football career.

During an appearance on the Next Round Live podcast, redshirt sophomore Milroe announced his plan to return for his senior season and avoid the 2024 NFL draft.

Many Alabama supporters were curious about whether the talented quarterback will play professionally or stay in college as the team’s College Football Playoff matchup with Michigan approached. However, as co-host Lance Taylor described it, the show and its audience have now received “an early Christmas gift” before Christmas Day, thanks to Thursday’s news.

This season, Milroe finished sixth in voting and put up a very great performance in his first year as a starter. He is predicted to be the 2024 Heisman frontrunner.

In addition to 468 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns, Milroe finished with 2,718 passing yards, 23 touchdowns, six interceptions, and an SEC title while leading Alabama (12-1) to its ninth consecutive CFP participation.
