Alabama kicker says yes to the Reese’s Senior Bowl invitation

Will Reichard did not win the Lou Groza Award, but he is on his way to something better.

The University of Alabama football team’s dependable kicker has accepted an invitation to compete in the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala. Reichard had the option of declaring for the NFL Draft after the 2022 season, but he chose to stay in school.

His decision enabled him to become the NCAA’s all-time career point leader (539). He converted 20 of 23 field goals and did not miss a single extra point attempt in 53 attempts. Reichard also had 47 touchbacks on 82 kickoffs and four 165-yard punts.

He was born in Hoover, Alabama, and helped the Crimson Tide win the SEC Championship and return to the College Football Playoff. Reichard was named SEC Special Teams Player of the Year and was named to the SEC’s first team. He is looking forward to helping Alabama beat Michigan in the Rose Bowl and win the CFP National Championship.
