Alabama have completed the signing of a rusher from Missouri

Ross lead Liberty North High in Kanas City to 13 wins this autumn. The 247Sports composite ranks him as the 21st best edge rusher in his class and the sixth best player in his state.

On the defensive side of the ball, Ross had eight sacks, a forced fumble, and a safety. Ross caught 14 passes for 254 yards and four touchdowns in 10 games as a tight end.

He had scholarship offers from Ole Miss and Florida State, among others. The Tide made an offer on Oct. 27 and welcomed Ross after beating LSU on Nov. 4. Ross, listed at 6-foot-4, 220 pounds, is the group’s second edge player, following Spanish Fort’s Sterling Dixon.
