Alabama football lands 3 players to the Walter Camp All-America Second Team

Alabama football fans were upset when Will Reichard (kicker) and Dallas Turner (linebacker) were passed over for national awards, but seeing a specific All-America Team has made them even more upset.

The Walter Camp Football Foundation unveiled its All-America Team on Friday.

The Crimson Tide had no players named to the first team. Alabama had three players named to Walter Camp’s second team, but they were arguably the best at their positions. JC Latham was named an offensive tackle, Kool-Aid McKinstry was named a cornerback, and Dallas Turner was named a linebacker.

All three players contributed to Alabama winning the SEC Championship and making the College Football Playoff. All season, Latham allowed two sacks in 408 pass sets, McKinstry allowed 183 total yards while being targeted only 37 times, and Turner had 13.5 tackles for loss and nine sacks.

Alabama fans could not understand how none of the three made the first team.

Latham, McKinstry, and Turner are prepared to “LANK” everyone in the CFP.
