Alabama A&M releases 2024 football schedule

The Alabama A&M Bulldogs have released their 2024 football schedule, which includes five home games and 12 total.

Alabama A&M’s 2024 season begins on Saturday, August 31 on the road against the Auburn Tigers. The Bulldogs then begin their home schedule at Louis Crews Stadium in Huntsville, Alabama, with back-to-back games against Kentucky State on September 7 and Fayetteville State on September 14. Both contests were previously unannounced.

Another road trip awaits the Bulldogs, as they head north to face the Austin Peay Governors on September 21 in Clarksville, Tenn., to conclude the non-conference portion of their schedule.

Alabama A&M begins Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play on the road on September 28 against the Florida A&M Rattlers. The Bulldogs will also travel to Alabama State on October 26 (in Birmingham, Ala.), Arkansas-Pine Bluff on November 9, and Mississippi Valley State on November 23.

SWAC opponents set to visit Louis Crews Stadium in 2024 are Bethune-Cookman on Oct. 12 for Homecoming, Southern on Nov. 2, and Grambling State on November 16. Alabama A&M will also compete against Jackson State in the Gulf Coast Challenge on October 5 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama.

Alabama A&M concluded the 2023 season 5–6 overall and 3-5 in SWAC play. It was the Bulldogs’ sixth season under head coach Connell Maynor, who has a 34-26 record at the school.
