Alabama 4-Star WR target sheds recruitment efforts

Travis Smith Jr. announced a cut to his recruitment on Sunday.

Smith is a four-star 2025 prospect from Atlanta, Georgia’s Westlake High School. Smith’s more than 35 college football offers are currently ranked in the top eight, with Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, and Tennessee among them.

Last weekend, Alabama hosted Smith for Junior Day and pleased the four-star prospect.

“They are one of my top schools, so we will see,” he remarked. “They have came up to my school a few times, so we will see in the coming months when I make a decision”

The Georgia product is a bigger wide receiver, standing 6-foot-4 and weighing around 200 pounds. His stature and quickness enable him to excel in jump ball situations and when called upon to catch in traffic.

Smith ended his junior season with 43 receptions, 843 yards, and 11 touchdowns.

Smith intends to visit Alabama during spring practice.
