A rookie for the Pittsburgh Steelers says the NFL is against him

TJ Watt, a pass-rusher for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is among the league’s most entertaining defensive players.

He is capable of destroying an opponent’s strategy and wreaking havoc in the backfield. Watt was his typical dominant self in the Arizona Cardinals game, but he was hurt on a play where he felt like he was being held. After the game, he was questioned about the lack of calls.

T.J. Watt on not drawing blatant holding calls:
“I don’t know. The NFL has something going against me, so I don’t wanna talk any more negatively towards them. I don’t know what I did, but I’ll leave it at that.” #Steelers#NFL

Pittsburgh Steelers TJ Watt On Lack Of Calls

It’s one thing not to get a call, but it’s worse when you get hurt on one. Watt expressed his displeasure after the game in an obvious way.

“I don’t know. The NFL has something going against me, so I don’t wanna talk any more negatively towards them. I don’t know what I did, but I’ll leave it at that.”

Although he is aware that words cannot fully capture his emotions, he allows a glimpse of his frustration. The fact that the Steelers were defeated by the Cardinals is much more upsetting. The club needed to win this game as they battle for a postseason berth.

Can The Steelers Make The Playoffs?

They were in the driver’s seat for an AFC spot going into this game.As we enter the final third of the season, things start to become a little difficult. Though they are all outsiders, the Texans, Bills, and Broncos should compete with the Steelers and Browns for supremacy. The Steelers needed to win this game because there are other teams vying for a postseason spot this season. This offensive still can’t seem to find its feet, even with Matt Canada ousted, which could eventually be Pittsburgh’s undoing.

The Steelers will need TJ Watt to perform exceptionally well in order to have a chance. It will be interesting to see whether Watt is disciplined by the NFL for these remarks.
