A German team is interested in signing a Burnley star

According to Sky Germany, Union Berlin is interested in loaning out Burnley goalkeeper Arijanet Muric throughout the winter.

Muric was a crucial component in Burnley’s promotion last season and is presently second in the Burnley pecking order behind summer acquisition James Trafford.

Muric being brought in on loan with the possibility of purchase in the winter would be appealing to Union. Muric’s exact role isn’t known yet, but it’s probable that he would replace Frederik Rnnow, who hasn’t played well through the first two months of the season.

Alexander Schwolow, the backup goalkeeper, has demonstrated that he hasn’t played at Bundesliga level in a while.

In addition to sitting 13th in the Bundesliga after losing 4-2 to Borussia Dortmund just before the international break, Union has had a rough start to the season.

They are now on a seven-game winless streak across all competitions and have lost both of their Champions League games in the final seconds.
