A career special teams contributor will play elsewhere this fall

On the first day of spring camp, Michigan Wolverines special teams ace Eamonn Dennis announced on social media that he had entered the transfer portal.

He’ll have two years of eligibility left at his next institution.

Dennis, a three-star from of Massachusetts, was a member of Michigan’s 2020 class. He never registered a reception on offense, although he did earn three tackles on defense from 2021 to 2022.

Dennis made the majority of his noise in Ann Arbor on special teams. He was named Special Teams Player of the Week during the 2022 season for his performances against Colorado State and Ohio State. He played 29 games as Wolverine.
