Nick Saban speaks out about the ‘major issue’ that cost Alabama football against Michigan
|This was something Nick Saban and Jalen Milroe needed to work out before the Rose Bowl.
The Alabama football team’s season has come to an end.Nick Saban knew it would be a difficult road to the College Football Playoff, but they came close. At the Rose Bowl, they were defeated by JJ McCarthy, Jim Harbaugh, and the Michigan football team. However, there were difficulties that led to Jalen Milroe’s team’s demise. The Crimson Tide’s head coach detailed it in his most recent statement, as reported by the Pat McAfee Show.
“Our center thought someone was clapping because they heard a noise that sounded like it.” He was snapping the ball too early at times and too late at other times. “That’s a huge issue for our quarterback,” Alabama football coach Nick Saban said of Seth McLaughlin and Jalen Milroe.
This was not the first time the center and quarterback miscommunicated. It had happened several times throughout the season, resulting in early snaps and broken plays that needed to be rescued.Unfortunately for Alabama, Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan defense knew how to stop these types of actions and notice if they were unusual. All of these contributed to their collapse.
