The Utah Utes were able to keep everyone in their class and sign their 15-person class on Wednesday.

The class’s headliner or standout is without a doubt four-star quarterback Isaac Wilson. The younger brother of New York Jets quarterback, MaxPreps Player of the Year finalist, and state champion appears to have all of the intangibles of a future great and is someone who Utes supporters were excited about even before he committed.

However, as we learned on Wednesday, the Utes had to hold off the back-to-back Georgia Bulldogs, who, according to Rivals’ Matt Patton, made a push to trade Wilson. When speaking to the media on Wednesday, head coach Kyle Whittingham mentioned the late push without identifying Georgia.

The announcement comes after Georgia lost five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola, who just transferred to Nebraska. According to On3, Wilson did not have a Georgia offer.

A development like this must make Utes fans even more fond of Wilson.
