In a crucial rematch with the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, two of the Seattle Seahawks’ top talents were doubtful to play, but only one will be in the starting lineup.

The Hawks will have their best receiver, which is wonderful news.

Leading the Seahawks in receptions and touchdown catches this season, Tyler Lockett is active after being labeled as doubtful to play because of a hamstring ailment. Lockett’s injury prevented him from practicing all week, but it won’t prevent him from playing on Sunday. Since joining the league in 2015, Lockett has shown remarkable durability, missing just three games throughout the regular season because of illness or injury.

Unfortunately, Jamal Adams, a strong safety, is sidelined due to a knee injury.

After suffering a serious quad injury that kept him out of all but one game in 2022, Adams didn’t play in any games until Week 4 of 2023 against the New York Giants. Adams, who missed two practices this week, will not be practicing, so that changes.

The Rams have one of the best receiving tandems in the NFL in Cooper Kupp and brilliant youngster Puka Nacua, but Adams’ absence will put further pressure on the Seahawks secondary.

The fact that cornerback Tre Brown, who was doubtful due to a foot issue, is participating does improve Seattle’s secondary.

Adams is out due to an injury, as is receiver Dareke Young (abdomen). Running back Kenny McIntosh, offensive tackles McClendon Curtis and Raiqon O’Neal, and defensive lineman Myles Adams complete Seattle’s list of inactive players.

Furthermore, due to a knee injury, right tackle Abraham Lucas was left on injured reserve and was not activated for this game. Lucas, who hasn’t played since Week 1, is back at practice this week.

The Rams are in peak health as they head into their bye week. Most notably, quarterback Matthew Stafford will start after being sidelined for the Rams’ previous game due to a thumb injury.

Kickoff is set for 1:25 p.m., and you can listen to the action live on Seattle Sports, KIRO Newsradio 97.3 FM and the Seahawks app.
