Hampus Lindholm Placed on Injured Reserve

Hampus Lindholm has been absent from the Bruins’ roster since suffering an injury against the Blues earlier this week. On Wednesday, Jim Montgomery stated that Lindholm will be ‘out weeks’ due to a lower-body ailment, which was eventually diagnosed as a fractured kneecap.

AHL Call-Ups

Georgii Merkulov and Riley Tufte have been recalled from the Providence Bruins. Tufte had played two games with Boston before being sent to Providence, where he scored four points (three goals and one assist) in six games.

Georgii Merkulov began his season in Providence, appearing in 12 games and accumulating 11 points (two goals and nine assists). Merkulov has been a scoring machine in the AHL, totaling 131 points in 146 games since the 2022-23 season. The undrafted free agent will have the opportunity to help the Bruins’ struggling team early this season.

Patrick Brown Assigned to AHL Providence Bruins

Patrick Brown has been reassigned back to the AHL Providence Bruins after being recalled for one game against the Dallas Stars. Brown, current captain of the PBruins, has skated in 12 games and tallied 7 points(3 goals, 4 assists) so far in the AHL this season.
