Curtis Nelson, a defender for Derby County, has extended his contract by one year, meaning he will remain at Pride Park until the summer of 2026.
The 31-year-old helped Derby achieve promotion back to the Championship by playing every minute of their League One campaign the previous season.
He played a key role in a Rams defense that allowed just 37 league goals and maintained 22 clean sheets in all competitions, earning him the club’s Player and Players’ Player of the Season awards.
Since returning to the second division, the former Blackpool, Cardiff City, Oxford United, and Plymouth Argyle defender has started every league game this season and has remained a vital member of Paul Warne’s defense.
