The Rams head coach leads his side to Vicarage Road this Saturday, hoping to build on the success against Middlesbrough last weekend.

Eiran Cashin will miss Derby County’s next two games due to concussion protocol, and Kane Wilson will not play before the international break.

Wilson suffered a hamstring injury in the weekend’s triumph over Middlesbrough, while Cashin received a hard hit to the head in the first half at Pride Park.

Both players will miss Saturday’s encounter at Watford (3pm), where Derby will look to build on their hard-fought victory over Michael Carrick’s side.

During his news conference at Moor Farm this morning, boss Paul Warne stated: “Eiran is undergoing his concussion protocol, so he will be unavailable for the next two games.

“That’s all we knew at the time. It’s a good rule, but not a wonderful rule if you’re the manager, but I wouldn’t put any of my players at risk.

“Unfortunately, he will not be involved. Kane Wilson will not be involved, either. He’s hurt his hamstring. I’d like to sit here and say he might be fine, but he won’t be. He will not play again before the international break.”
