Rafael Nadal’s match-worn shirt from the 2005 French Open final against Roger Federer sold for more than $113,000.

The shirt is literally off Nadal’s back, as he wore it for at least three matches throughout the big tennis tournament. One of those matches was against another all-time great, Federer.

You may recall that Nadal overcame Federer, the world’s number one at the time, in the semifinals, making him one of only a few guys to do so. It also occurred to be Nadal’s nineteenth birthday.

Now you understand why the artifact was so desired… even surpassing the Prestige Memorabilia experts’ anticipated auction price of $100,000.

Rafa’s shirt was bid on 15 times, with the highest price coming in at $113,924!
