Earlier this week, Michigan football received its second commitment in the 2026 class, four-star cornerback Brody Jennings from Jacksonville, Florida. The 6-foot-1 cornerback is ranked No. 271 overall in the 247 Sports composite rankings.
It appears like the Wolverines will be able to have a solid class in 2026, perhaps the greatest in the last five years. Michigan football is on fire right now, and as long as the Wolverines can put together a strong first season under Sherrone Moore, recruiting might skyrocket, especially now that the Wolverines are much more competitive with NIL.
EJ Holland of The Wolverine predicts Michigan football will sign four-star running back Javian Mallory. According to 247 Sports’ composite rankings, he is rated 187th overall in the 2026 class.
Mallory, from Boca Raton, Florida, carried for more than 1,400 yards last season and is a genuine home run hitter. His offer list is also formidable, featuring Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Oregon, USC, Tennessee, Nebraska, Florida, Florida State, and others.
Following Holland’s estimate, the On3 prediction system gives Michigan an 87 percent chance of securing Mallory’s commitment following his visit to the BBQ. The Wolverines have already secured two blue-chip promises for 2026, and if Holland is correct, a third might be on the way.
