This weekend, two high Tennessee Vols commitments requested a significant favor from UT football fans.
2025 five-star quarterback George MacIntyre and 2025 four-star defensive lineman Ethan Utley want fans to paint a rock on Tennessee’s campus in honor of 2025 five-star offensive lineman David Sanders Jr., the Vols’ top remaining recruiting prospect.

Sanders, the nation’s top offensive lineman, plans to make his commitment on August 17. The Charlotte, North Carolina native stopped in Nebraska on Friday for a quick visit before continuing on to Knoxville.
Tennessee, Nebraska, Ohio State, and Georgia are the final four schools vying for the highly sought-after prospect. However, as the recruiting battle nears its conclusion, it appears that the Vols and the Cornhuskers are leading the way.
Nebraska fans did their share on Friday by welcoming Sanders to Lincoln; now it’s up to Vols fans to go above and above on Saturday.
