Nottingham Forest are looking for additional new players this summer, with a winger and a striker on their shortlist before the season begins.

Forest has scoured the world for additional talent to join the five new players who have already been added.

South America has been a goldmine for Forest to recruit good players, and it appears that the Reds are still active on that continent.

Gustavo Scarpa, Danilo, Murillo, and Carlos Miguel have all signed from Brazil in recent seasons with great success.

South America could be in for another Forest raid, with the Premier League club eyeing a promising winger.

Nottingham Forest negotiating deal for Ramon Sosa

The Reds are looking for a winger and are in talks to recruit Sosa from CA Talleres in the Argentine Premier League.

According to El Grafico, the Reds are now negotiating a transfer cost for Sosa, and personal terms are unlikely to be an issue.

It would be a tremendous blow to CA Talleres, who have a Copa Libertadores game against River Plate coming up.

Sosa has been linked with Wolves and Chelsea this summer, with his agency announcing in May that talks had begun over a transfer to Stamford Bridge.

During the 2023/24 season, the player was in top form, scoring seven goals and assisting six times from his natural left wing position.

Sosa has 14 caps for Paraguay, and at 24-years-old, he appears to be the ideal candidate for a Forest signing under their new transfer plan.

Sosa looks ideal Forest signing

This appears to be yet another signing indicating that Forest intends to work more attentively in the market this summer.

Another player who is only 24 is not to be overlooked, and he will arrive with plenty of promise and clear resale value.

The player recently starred in the Copa America and has been scouted by several Premier League clubs.

Recruitment has left a lot to be desired in recent years, but this summer seems quite different.

Sosa plays on the left flank, and while he is not left-footed, he does represent someone who is natural on the left.

It’s fantastic to hear that Forest is working rapidly on this one, and maybe a deal can be reached in the future.
