The Tennessee Volunteers have been on a tear on the recruitment trail recently.
In only a few weeks on the recruiting trail, the Vols have signed 4-star wide receiver Travis Smith Jr. and 4-star linebacker Christian Gass. The Vols have another target in 4-star safety LaGonza Hayward, who is slated to announce his college decision on Saturday, July 27th.
The Vols appear to be the current leaders for Hayward, along with South Carolina and Georgia. While Volunteer supporters await Hayward’s news, numerous current commits have hinted at a “surprise commitment” before the 27th, maybe from Hayward himself.

The Vols already have 18 commits in the 2025 recruiting class to date with a little over four months to go until signing day.
