Former Ipswich Town forward Freddie Sears has joined Chatham Town after a time with Braintree Town.
The 34-year-old joined the Iron after being released from Dagenham & Redbridge in March, and he helped them gain promotion to the National League.
Sears will now play for Kevin Hake’s side in the Isthmian Premier Division, England’s seventh division.
Last season, the Chats finished second in the table but lost to Enfield Town in the play-off final.
