Anthony Richardson, the Indianapolis Colts quarterback, is becoming increasingly popular.

As the rising star approaches his second season, he has a lot to show after missing much of his rookie season due to a shoulder injury.

While some pundits and fans wonder what kind of quarterback the Colts have, Richardson’s teammate, Quenton Nelson, has no reservations.

“He’s an absolute freak,” Nelson stated on the Bussin With The Boys podcast. “It’s like he weighed in after practice at 250 pounds. He’s gigantic. He can launch the ball accurately. The plays he can make, some of which you have seen in glimpses. It’s like, “Wow, this guy is special.”

Richardson demonstrated some of the promise that he may be a game changer at the NFL’s most critical position. However, one of the most important themes to keep an eye on will be injuries.

Despite Richardson’s need to prove he can stay healthy for a complete season, Nelson has been impressed with the way he conducts himself off the field.

“Also, how he conducts his business. I wouldn’t say he’s extremely outspoken, but he goes about his job as if he’s handling it and is always prepared. Yeah, he’s a special guy,” Nelson stated.

It’s no secret that the Colts’ season is mostly dependent on Richardson, but it’s evident that the locker room leaders believe in the rookie quarterback.
