Peyton Manning is one of the best quarterbacks of all time, and if it weren’t for Tom Brady and Joe Montana, the former Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts star would certainly be regarded as the finest to ever play the position.

Despite not being able to match Brady and Montana in terms of Super Bowl victories, Manning did win two titles with different franchises, which is impressive, to say the least, especially considering he was written off by the Colts before joining the Broncos in the latter stages of his Hall of Fame career.

Manning played alongside some outstanding players at various positions, particularly wide receiver, where he threw passes to Marvin Harrison, Demaryius Thomas, and Reggie Wayne, among others.

Although Manning had his fair share of exceptional receivers throughout his illustrious career, he revealed one guy to whom he wishes he could have thrown passes ahead of the Netflix premiere of “Receiver,” produced by Omaha Productions.

“One, Raymond Berry,” Manning announced. “Old Baltimore Colt.” Going with Raymond Berry. I got to spend some time with him. He was a great expert at his craft.”

Rather than going with more modern former receivers like Randy Moss or Terrell Owens, or even current standout Justin Jefferson, Manning chose Berry, who no one would have expected.

Even if it is not the expected response, Manning’s decision to name who he truly wanted to send passes to rather than who would have been a more popular choice is consistent with his style.
