Three prominent mock drafts all predict that Brock Bowers will go to same NFL team
|As the NFL draft approaches, many Georgia Bulldogs are anxious to learn where they will go.
Tight end Brock Bowers is one of the highest-rated prospects in the draft, and three of ESPN’s top draft analysts believe he will soon get the opportunity to catch passes from New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
In their most recent mock drafts, Field Yates, Matt Miller, and Mel Kiper Jr. all projected Bowers to go to the Jets. Yates mentioned the Jets’ offensive line improvements in free agency to protect Aaron Rodgers, while praising Bowers as “a difference-making tight end” who would “thrive with no shortage of run-after-catch opportunities.”
Bowers would join Tyler Conklin in the Jets’ tight end room, joining Garrett Wilson and rookie Mike Williams as starters. His blocking ability would also help safeguard Aaron Rodgers, who has been a focal point since suffering an Achilles injury in 2023. He would be able to make an immediate impact for a Jets squad that appears to be all-in on winning right now as Rodgers’ career comes to a close.
