Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna described the Blues’ 3-2 comeback victory over Bristol City at Portman Road as a ‘great way to win a football match’.
Leif Davis scored in the 89th minute after the Robins had twice taken the lead, Ali Al-Hamadi and Conor Chaplin had equalised, and the Iraqi international had a penalty saved previous to Davis’ last-gasp strike, his first of the season.
“It was a brilliant way to win a football match,” McKenna exclaimed. “I believe that a night and an end to a contest create an atmosphere that we must appreciate.
