Leicester City’s rivals have been warned that they will continue to change as the Championship season progresses.
With 10 victories from their first 11 league games this season, Enzo Maresca’s team leads the table by two points. To Maresca’s dismay, Swansea manager Michael Duff has already predicted that Leicester will win the Championship; nonetheless, teams have been forewarned that City will only get stronger.
Dean Hammond, a former midfielder for Leicester, feels that way. Additionally, he has highlighted something that he believes is crucial to Maresca and will only get better as the season progresses.
On the When You’re Smiling podcast on BBC Radio Leicester, Hammond stated: “We need to keep working on the training ground and paying attention to the detail that he mentions.
“Simply keep changing because the group is performing so well. Take a look at the outcomes; they are amazing.
Getting to know the players better is also something that I’m sure is very important to him. It appears that his goal is to establish a close bond with the athletes. You get that chance without the stress of playing games and needing to get ready for them.
Because of how many games were in the Championship, I’m sure there would have been some downtime as well.
