The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to Jireh Edwards, a four-star safety recruit. Edwards belongs to the class of 2026.

St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland, is where the outstanding safety prospect plays high school football. St. Frances Academy has one of the best high school football programs in the country.

Jireh Edwards is Maryland’s number one player in the 2026 class. According to 247Sports, Edwards is the nation’s No. 5 safety and No. 63 prospect.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound safety recruit has received scholarship offers from Ole Miss, South Carolina, Maryland, Miami, Alabama, and other elite college football programs.

Jireh Edwards publicized his scholarship offer from the University of Georgia on social media.

It is still extremely early for the class of 2026. However, prospects are making decisions sooner and earlier these days, so it is not a terrible idea to be in the running for an outstanding talent like Jireh Edwards.
