After an amazing season finale, the Packers will attempt to build on their postseason success in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Despite low expectations, the Green Bay Packers impressed even the most optimistic Wisconsin football fans. The squad finished 9-8 during the regular season, then defeated the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs before falling just short to the San Francisco 49ers in the Division Round.

Jordan Love established himself to be a franchise quarterback, while the youthful pass-catchers improved dramatically over the season. The Packers’ season is gone, and their focus now shifts to the upcoming offseason and the 2024 NFL draft. Here are four sneaky good athletes the Packers should target in the draft as they attempt to build on a successful season.

Kamren Kinchens (Safety), Miami FL

The Packers’ primary focus this offseason is on improving their secondary. Aside from Jaire Alexander and Darnell Savage, no other safety or cornerback will believe their position is secure this offseason. Miami safety Kamren Kinchens is one prospect who Green Bay could consider in the draft. The junior is a crafty ballhawk with 11 interceptions in the last two years (leading the ACC both times), including a pair of pick-sixes. He is especially effective in run support, as he enjoys lowering his shoulder and getting involved at the line of scrimmage.

In 2023, Jonathan Owens was one of Green Bay’s main flaws at free safety, while Kamren Kinchens is a playmaking safety who can cover the entire field.

Jordan Morgan (Offensive Tackle), Arizona

David Bakhtiari, when healthy, is one of the league’s top offensive tackles. In two of the previous three seasons, the veteran missed all but one game. The 32-year-old is entering the final year of his deal in 2024 and might become a salary cap casualty. Even if he stays, the Packers will want to have a replacement ready for Bakhtiari when he does leave. Arizona offensive tackle Jordan Morgan was a three-year starter for the Wildcats, returning from a ruptured ACL at the conclusion of 2022 to earn First-Team All-Pac-12 recognition in 2023.

Benson will be an excellent backup to Aaron Jones in 2024 and will be able to take over full-time if Jones leaves after the season.
