3 Town stars make national team squad

Nathan Broadhead, Wes Burns, and Kieffer Moore have been selected to the Wales squad for the Euro 2024 play-offs, which begin later this month.

The Welsh, who placed third in their group, will face Finland in the Cardiff City Stadium on Thursday, March 21st.

If they win that match, they will play either Poland or Estonia five days later for a spot in the championships in Germany next summer.

Moore has previously earned 39 complete caps, scoring 12 goals, while Broadhead has nine, scoring twice, and Burns has six without establishing his international account.

They will join the squad after Town’s Championship match against Sheffield Wednesday at Portman Road on Saturday.

Striker Ali Al-Hamadi has requested that he not be included in the Iraq squad for their games due to a slight injury he is suffering from, while Egypt captain Sam Morsy was left out of the party for their break matches.
