3 Alabama players who could move to the NFL after 2024

Alabama Football sends draft eligible juniors to the NFL every season, and that should continue under Kalen DeBoer.

Players like redshirt junior quarterback Jalen Milroe and junior guard Tyler Booker are widely projected to enter the NFL next year, but Alabama might have several more juniors declare following breakout 2024 seasons.

Running back Jam Miller is poised for a breakout season in Alabama’s offense. Many believe sophomore Justice Haynes will be the best back in the Crimson Tide backfield, but both backs should get enough touches to put up large numbers. While Haynes will return to Tuscaloosa in 2025, it would not be remarkable if Jam Miller posted a 1,000-yard season and declared for the draft.

Germie Bernard, a wide receiver who transferred to Alabama from Washington, could be Milroe’s main target this fall. If he has a successful year, Bernard might follow in the footsteps of former Alabama WR Jameson Williams.

It would be fantastic to see Bernard enjoy this kind of season, but it is probably unlikely. This Alabama offense is designed to establish the run first and foremost. While the passing game can still be prolific, Bernard will struggle to produce eye-popping numbers with Kendrick Law, Kobe Prentice, and the tight ends all competing for targets. Still, Germie Bernard has the ability to capitalize if the opportunity arises.

Jihaad Campbell, a linebacker, was one of Alabama’s finest defensive players in 2023, recording 66 tackles, an interception, and two fumble recoveries. Campbell, a rangy, ball-hawking linebacker with excellent instincts and sideline-to-sideline speed, is a prototypical NFL player. If both stay healthy, he and Deontae Lawson will continue to improve each other while playing together. If the Alabama defense hits its prime, both might enter the NFL Draft next spring.
