2024 Fourth Colts Mock Draft: One Player Stands Out From the Rest

The NFL Draft is less than two weeks away, so mock draft season is in full swing.

As the Colts prepare for their 15th overall pick on Thursday, April 25th, only one position and one player stand out above the rest.

Here is our third Mock Draft look for 2024:

1. ESPN.com’s Mel Kiper: Pick No. 15: CB-Quinyon Mitchell (Toledo)

Kiper’s Analysis: “Cornerback is the Colts’ most pressing need, so this is an excellent combination of need and the finest prospect available. However, if Bowers falls, this could be a good area to monitor.

2. The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman Pick No. 15: CB-Terrion Arnold (Alabama)

Feldman’s Analysis: “The Colts need help at cornerback, and there was hope that Mitchell would still be available, but he’s gone. Arnold emerged as a star this season and was the cornerback opponent coaches feared the most on the Tide, not Kool-Aid McKinstry, who received more attention. McKinstry is a very skilled and knowledgeable cornerback, but Arnold truly shined in 2023, recording five interceptions and 17 pass breakups. Arnold (6 feet, 190 pounds) is the more athletic of the two Tide corners, but he did not show the same kind of wheels as Mitchell at the combine, clocking a 4.50 40. He jumped 37 inches and 10-9 in the broad jump. Then, on his pro day, he ran an astounding 6.65 in the 3-cone.

3. CBS Sports’ Ryan Wilson: Pick No. 15: CB-Quinyon Mitchell (Toledo)

Wilson’s Analysis: WR might be a target here, and while the Colts value their young CBs, Quinyon Mitchell will be CB1 on many teams’ lists. So, getting him in the middle of the first round would be a bargain.

4. Sporting News’ Vinnie Iyer: Pick No. 15: CB-Nate Wiggins (Clemson)

Iyer’s Analysis: The Colts brought back Kenny Moore, who requires quick downfield coverage in the secondary. They may consider adding more offense, but corner addresses an important need and perhaps the best bargain here.

5. NFL.com’s Chad Reuter: Pick No. 15: CB-Quinyon Mitchell (Toledo)

Reuter’s Analysis: Mitchell’s performance during Senior Bowl practices confirmed his quickness and ability to play the ball, which were evident on film, while his combine workout might solidify his spot in the top half of the first round.

6. Bowen’s Analysis
